Science is no more than an investigation of a miracle we can never explain, and art is an interpretation of that miracle.
- Ray Bradbury's "The Martian Chronicles"
Insecurity captures the tug-of-war between our inner and outer worlds. A lone figure sits trapped under a looming dome, suggesting the crushing weight of overthinking and self-doubt. Yet an anatomical spine anchors the subject, hinting at an unbreakable human spirit within. Through layers of fabric and glowing textures, the painting explores how we hide and reveal our true selves. The fluorescent light speaks to how technology filters our connections. “Insecurity” reflects the universal struggle to balance our inner voice with outside forces. Though the dome threatens to overwhelm, the painting finds power in the vulnerability of being human. With emotive imagery, “Insecurity” explores how we withdraw while still yearning for understanding.
